HUMAN TOUCH / INTERACTIVE HEALTH CONSUMER PRODUCT WARRANTY INFORMATION

  1. New Elite Human Touch / Interactive Health Massage Chairs (HT-7450 and HT-1650 Only) have a "5/3/1" Limited warranty. Elite HT-1650 and HT-7450 massage chairs come with a Manufacturer's Five-Year Limited Warranty against structural defects (Frame only - cosmetics are not covered). Factory Parts are covered for three years from the original date of purchase. In-Home Service (parts and labor) is covered for one year from the original date of purchase for chairs in the US 50 states and most major cities in Canada only. Chairs are packed for shipping and require minor assembly. White Glove delivery, setup and box removal is available on all chairs to most US addresses for an additional fee. Warranty is not valid for chairs shipped out of the United States and Canada. In-Home Service is only available in the US 50 states and most major Canadian Cities.

  2. New Signature Human Touch / Interactive Health Massage Chairs have a "5/1/1" Limited warranty. Signature HTT™ and HT™ massage chairs come with a manufacturer's five-year limited warranty against structural defects (Frame only - cosmetics are not covered). Factory Parts are covered for 1-year from the original date of purchase. In-Home service (parts and labor) is covered for 1-year from the original date of purchase for chairs in the US 50 states and most major cities in Canada only. Chairs are packed for shipping and require minor assembly. White Glove delivery, setup and box removal is available on all chairs to most US addresses for an additional fee. Warranty is not valid for chairs shipped out of the United States and Canada. In-Home Service is only available in the US 50 states and most major Canadian Cities.

  3. New iJoy® Robotic Casual Massage Chairs have a "3/1/90 Day" Limited warranty. iJoy Casual massage chairs are covered by a 3-year structural, 1-year parts, and 90-day In-Home Service warranty. In-Home service (parts and labor) is covered for 90 days from the original date of purchase for chairs in the US 50 states and most major cities in Canada only. The manufacturer's warranties are not valid if the product has been misused or damaged in any way that is beyond the control of the manufacturer. Chairs are packed for shipping and require minor assembly. White Glove delivery, setup and box removal is available on all chairs to most US addresses for an additional fee. Warranty is not valid for chairs shipped out of the United States and Canada. In-Home Service is only available in the US 50 states and most major Canadian Cities.

  4. Refurbished Human Touch Elite and Signature Massage Chairs include a Six Month Factory Limited Warranty and one year structural warranty (Cosmetics are not covered). Six months for parts with 60 days parts and labor. Our Refurbished Human Touch Elite and Signature Massage Chairs can also add a Genuine Human Touch Extended In-Home Parts and Labor Warranty if purchased through Vitalityweb.

  5. Refurbished iJoy Casual Massage Chairs include a Six Month Factory Limited Warranty and Six Month structural warranty. Six months parts with 30 day parts with labor(Cosmetics are not covered). Our Refurbished Human Touch iJoy Casual Massage Chairs can also add a Genuine Human Touch Extended 2 Year In-Home Parts and Labor Warranty for $99 if purchased through Vitalityweb.

  6. New and Factory Renewed Human Touch Perfect Zero Gravity Chairs include a manufacturer's 3-Year Limited Warranty against mechanical defects (Cosmetics are not covered). Parts are covered for 3-years from the original date of purchase. In-Home Service is covered for 90 days from the original date of purchase and is only available in the US 50 states and most major cities in Canada. Warranty is not valid for chairs shipped out of the United States and Canada.

  7. Refurbished Human Touch / Interactive Health Perfect Chairs include a Six Month Factory Limited Warranty and six month structural warranty. Six months for parts with 60 days parts and labor(Cosmetics are not covered). Extended Warranties are not currently available on Refurbished Perfect Chairs.

  8. All Human Touch Warranties are nontransferable and shall be in lieu of any other warranty, express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranty or merchantability or fitness for particular use(Cosmetics are not covered). Human Touch's sole liability and the purchaser's exclusive remedy shall be for the repair, or at Human Touch's option, for the replacement of the defective part. Not withstanding the above, if replacements parts for defective materials are not available. Human Touch reserves the right to make substitutions in lieu of repair or replacement.

  9. Exclusions: Warranties do not apply to rental, business, commercial, institutional, or other nonresidential users. Proof of purchase (original receipt) is required for all warranty repairs or service.

CANADIAN CUSTOMERS: Canadian In-Home Service is only available in most major metropolitan areas. Human Touch / Interactive Health and Vitalityweb are not responsible for any duties, taxes, or other fees associated with the import or export of products covered under this warranty program. Warranty is not valid for chairs shipped out of the United States and Canada. Refurbished/Factory Renewed chairs are shipped under the following code: "CODE SH: 9401.61.90.00 Chair, leather covering, completely refurbished in the United States". Since the chairs are completely Refurbished in the US, this MAY help to decrease or eliminate import taxes to Canada.

In the rare instance that something goes wrong with a Human Touch or a Get-a-Way chair, an extended warranty will provide you with the piece of mind that your purchase will be covered by Human Touch after the standard warranty expires. An extended warranty will also provide you with access to Human Touch's extended service hotline, ensuring that repairs are performed using approved methods and materials by authorized personnel. Extended warranties are also available on Factory-Renewed/refurbished Human Touch products purchased after 2/8/2009.

Our professional refurbishment process begins with replacing all massage mechanism components. Then, we extensively test and evaluate the chairs to ensure they are as close to new as possible. Once the internal elements are taken care of, we move to the exterior. In addition to ensuring the upholstery is factory fresh, we replace any scratched parts with factory-fresh parts as well (but some minor blemishes are unavoidable). As with all our chairs, our Refurbished products come with a generous limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship for a wide range of seating and massage components. So you can rest assured you’ll enjoy the same comfort, wellness benefits and beauty of our new chairs for years to come for a price that will make you feel pretty good as well.

Human Touch® Factory Renewed products feature the same comfort, wellness benefits and beauty of our new chairs – with an equally attractive price. Our Factory Renewed products undergo extensive testing and evaluation to ensure they are as close to new as possible. And, our Factory Renewed products actually feature the same industry-leading warranty that covers our brand new chairs. So you can be sure you’re protected against any defects in materials or workmanship for a wide range of seating and massage components. The upholstery is factory fresh and, when necessary, scratched parts have been replaced with factory-fresh parts as well (but some minor blemishes are unavoidable). They even come in the same brand new packaging as our new chairs. So really, the biggest difference between our Factory Renewed products and our new products is the discounted price.

Human Touch® products are backed by limited warranties against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty begins on the original purchase date and may consist of:
  • Field Service (In-Home): Human Touch will supply parts and schedule service with a third-party service provider to repair the chair at the purchaser's location. In-Home Service is only available in the US 50 states and some major Canadian Cities.
  • Parts Only (Parts): Human Touch will supply new or rebuilt, at Human Touch's option, repair or replacement parts in exchange for defective parts that are covered by this warranty and provide return shipping to purchaser for repairs performed at the factory. It is the consumer's responsibility to return the defective unit to Human Touch in the original packaging or in approved packaging that is available for sale from Human Touch. Any repair or replacement parts will be warranted for the remainder of the original manufacturer's warranty period or ninety (90) days from installation by an authorized repair technician, whichever is longer. Replacement parts or units are the property of the consumer; the replaced parts or units become the property of Human Touch.
  • Structural (Metal Frame): Human Touch will supply packing materials and repair parts covered by this warranty and return shipping to purchaser for repairs performed at the factory. The consumer is responsible for returning the defective unit to Human Touch in the packing materials provided.
CONSUMER WARRANTY LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS:
  • Warranties are only valid within the United States and Canada provided the equipment has been operated according to the instructions accompanying it. The warranty only applies to the product and does note include any accessories or enhancements.
  • Field Service is only available in the United States and major metropolitan areas in Canada. Field Service requires pre-approval and must be performed by Interactive Health authorized field service personnel to maintain warranty coverage.
  • Softening of foams and filling composites in pillows, pads, and memory foam kits do not constitute a defect under this warranty as those items naturally soften with use.
  • Fading, wear and pilling of fabrics does not constitute a defect under this warranty as those conditions naturally occur with fabrics.
  • Natural markings, grain, and dye variations in leather does not constitute a defect under this warranty as no two pieces of leather are alike.
  • OEM products are completely self-contained and must be returned to Human Touch for service. The warranty covers only the massage assembly, cord and controller against mechanical defects.
  • Shipping and freight coverage under this warranty requires scheduling by Human Touch and only includes "curb-side" pickup/delivery. It does not include any duties, taxes, brokerage, or other import/export fees. "In-Home" pickup/delivery is available at an extra charge.
  • For returns, the consumer is responsible for packing the product in the original box or in approved packaging that is available for sale from Human Touch. Products received without a valid RMA number or one clearly marked on the box will be refused.
  • Warranties do not cover any loss or damage resulting from: improper installation, unauthorized repairs or modifications, improper use of electrical/power supply, loss of power; dropped product, a malfunction or damage of an operating part from failure to provide manufacturer's recommended maintenance; transportation damage; theft, abuse, misuse, neglect, vandalism, or environmental conditions (fire, floods, rust, corrosion, sand, dirt, windstorm, hail, earthquake, or exposure to weather conditions); loss of use during the period the product is at a repair facility or otherwise awaiting parts or repair. Damage incurred due to shipping and handling does not constitute a defect under this warranty.
  • Under no circumstance shall Human Touch or its representatives be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages (including damages for lost profits, business interruption, bodily injury, medical, and the like), even if any party has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
  • Warranties are nontransferable and shall be in lieu of any other warranty, express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranty or merchantability or fitness for particular use. Human Touch's sole liability and the purchaser's exclusive remedy shall be for the repair, or at Human Touch's option, for the replacement of the defective part. Not withstanding the above, if replacements parts for defective materials are not available, Human Touch reserves the right to make substitutions in lieu of repair or replacement.
  • All Warranties begin on DATE OF PURCHASE, no allowance or extension is offered for delivery and/or installation.
  • Warranties do not apply to rental, business, commercial, institutional, or other nonresidential users.
